Carbon Kate- The Complete Employment Lawyer
Carbon Kate- The Complete Employment Lawyer
Kate qualified in 2013 and spent the next decade working in large, regional firms. During her time in private practice she was seconded to clients to act as their in-house counsel on a range of employment matters. It was also during this time that Kate delivered training to clients and enjoyed it so much, she took up a role as module leader for Cardiff University on the Human Resource Management (MSc) course.
With the aim of continuing to work for a variety of clients, Kate left private practice in spring 2024 to set up her own employment practice under Carbon Law Partners. The purpose of Kate’s practice is to offer clients a complete range of employment services. Kate has the skills, experience and expertise to deliver training, conduct investigations and advise clients through a unique and personalised approach to your employment issues.
Time spent with clients across a range of sectors taught Kate the importance of getting to know the client’s business and its culture. It is particularly important from an employment law perspective to adopt a consistent approach in managing people issues but it is very difficult to achieve consistency when you instruct different consultants/lawyers for your employment/HR issues. If you instruct Kate you can be assured that she will not only deliver pragmatic and focused advice but she will tailor her training to reflect on “progress points” so your business can continue to improve.
